In John Wyndham's The Chrysalids there are a few characters that could be portrayed as the hero, but one person stood out. In The Chrysalids the hero is intelligent, brave and thoughtful. She is not the stereotypical hero. For one, she is female, and in the time of the book being written women were not allowed a lot of the same freedoms of today. In the novel Rosalind is the hero.

Out of the group Rosalind seems to be the intelligent one, or the brains of the operation. Rosalind seemed to plan out the whole escape and David really didn't do much at all at the time. When David was not ready, Rosalind was there to get Petra. She had already got the horses ready and planned the whole thing ahead of time.ADD ON TO THIS!

Rasolind is also brave. She is not the only barve one but she seemed to stand out for what she does. When David and Petra were sleeping and she was taking the second watch she encountered someone fallowong their trail so she killed him.

When petras pony was being eaten and Petra was up the tree scared, Rosalind killed the creature even though it was really frightening.

God! I am in such a bad mood right now! HEhe i snapped at Adrian today in Math when he tried to seel me music for 5 bucks. knowing him he was trying to sell me shit. I even snapped at him yesterday. Meh! Me and Mal tried avoiding Weggie but that didnt work out so good He finds us everywhere. Today walking home was fun we were walking reggies way but tried to stay away from him and when i was looking back guess wh was there ..yup Stalker dude! I was like OMG! anyway fun times.

CSi is the best frigging show! I dont really get the song though...It supposably says "Who are You?" but it sounds like "Ooooo Whyyyyyy OOoooo" It doesnt even remotly sound like Who are you. Anyway....Merp. I don't think crime shows should be on tv(ina way) They are bad because people planning to be serial killers can learn from those shows and not make the same mistakes as the people in the shows. It good because well...Its a kick ass show and well i suppose im addicted...and im going clod turkey...hehehe. That means no meds. are involved. LOL im kidding GOD!

I cant believe Pope John Paul is dead? Well i guess all goo things must come to an end...im soo sad about though! Well he will always be here with us(L)...We'll miss you JPII!
Anyway...i went to a hockey game and nearly got hit by the puck several times. And we didnt even move out of the second row...there wasnt even any boards or anything to protect us! Didnt win the 50/50 draw..over 1000 dollars won! Damn that winner guy person lady thing...

So veryvery hyper right now...y? because im lacking sleep and im lacking food(30 hour famine). I was definately a pian this morning to everyone i talked to. Yesterday i fell up the stairs between classes and everyone saw and when i was going up them today everyone was yelling dont fall down...I replied with cool ppl dont fall down they fall up. So im happy and yes thats it...WAH im really hungry i havnt eaten in over hours.
